This is my second favorite show right after Breaking Bad, and I loved your conversation about it! There may have been some things I disagreed with, and I desperately wanted to be part of the discussion at times to give my opinion, but that’s a good sign.
My take on Raylan letting Dickie go free was that he couldn’t admit to everyone how much Dickie had truly hurt him. Raylan should be unstoppable, yet this little guy killed the woman closest to him and almost killed him. He couldn’t drop his tough guy act enough to let his pain out. That’s what I gathered from it.
I think that’s a much better interpretation than what we came up with.
