I’m a new listener. Started a couple of podcasts ago.
Thank you for the lovingly rendered critiques of the new comics. Right now I am coming to your podcast (and just a couple of others) for a clue as to how the new DC stuff is being received, as I am coming back into the comics fold after a many years layoff, and I am curious how my tastes and other fans’ current tastes overlap. Or if they do. (Of the New 52 I’ve purchased Batgirl, Batwoman, Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Superboy, Action, JLA, Batman, Nightwing, Green Lantern, and Green Lantern Corps so far. I have opinions on them—boy, do I have opinions. But I find so many other thinking people do as well! What a joy to discover this! I’ve been out in the wilderness too long.)
Your affection for, and concern for, the books you review is so evident and so enjoyable. The time you take to do this is appreciated. It’s a great podcast.
